Being local here in Woodland Park, CO the name Sun Mountain Threads is inspired by our beautiful backdrop of Pikes Peak. The original Colorado Mountain Ute people saw Pikes Peak and with the height of the peak and the way it was illuminating named it Tava meaning "Sun Mountain".

Woodland Park sits at an elevation of 8,465' where the air is thin and the views are spectacular!
